This 1-day Electrical Fundamentals Review seminar covers basic electrical terms and definitions commonly used by plant maintenance electricians. The meaning of basic terms are explained along with the answers to "why is this important and why do I need to know it ?" This seminar provides a good review for plant electricians and is an an excellent introductory seminar for beginners who want to get acquainted with the basic concepts of electricity. It is an ideal seminar for people with no knowledge of electricity or electrical principals.

We recommend this seminar be taken in conjunction with Electrical Safety.

Bonus - Using Digital Multimeters Safely
The 2009 NFPA 70E® requires, in Article 110, that electrical workers be trained to select the appropriate voltage detector and shall demonstrate how to use a device to verify the absence of voltage. This 1-day seminar includes training and hands-on meter exercises which will demonstrate to the instructor that the attendee knows how to select the correct meter and safely use the meter to check for the absence of voltage in an electrical panel.

Attendees will receive a Certificate of Meter Training and Safe Demonstration showing that the training and demonstration requirements have been met.
